The answer is
a. 1700-1799.
- - -
A century is actually considered 100 years before the actually number. For example, 2000s are considered the 21st century. 1700s are the 18th century and the 1900 were considered the 20th century.

The answer is A. But to be a little more specific, the 18th century as actually 1701-1800.
