How does the area of a circle change if the radius is multiplied by a factor of n, where n is a whole number??

a=pir^2
if multipied by factor of n then

replace r with nr

a=pi(nr)^2
a=pi(n^2)(r^2)
a=(n^2)(pir^2)
the area will be multiplied by a factor of n^2
