Perimeter of a figure = Sum of the lengths of the boundaries of the figure

In the figure attached,

There is a parallelogram with side lengths 5 in, 7 in and 7 in.

And a semicircle with radius 'r' =
(5)/(2) = 2.5 in

Now the circumference of the semicircle = πr

= π(2.5)

= 7.85 in.

Now the perimeter of the total figure = 7 + 5 + 7 + 7.85

= 26.85 in.

Therefore, perimeter of the figure is 26.85 in.
