Well, since you didn't attach your options, then try going with these steps, if we're looking for the value of "x"


5(2) + 7(x) - 6 = ?

? = 0

7(x) + 4 = 0
7(x) = -4
= 4 -4
---- ----
3x = 0
÷ 7 ÷7
----- -----
.428x 0

Therefore the value of "x" would have to be:
-(4)/(7)
