Are the metal rails that make up train tracks an example of parallel lines, intersecting lines, or perpendicular lines?

(please explain)

Parallel lines because they never cross each other and are side by side. Perpendicular lines are shaped like an x.(X) Intersecting lines make an x(or cross) at some point. Since metal rails on train tracks are strait, they are parallel.

It's an example of all, the middle rails intersect with the side rails which the side rails are parallel to eachother and the side rails are perpendicular to the middle rails.
