First of all 60 divided by twelve is 5. And 1 kilometer equals 1000 meters. to 5 times 1000 is 5000

Part A:
60 divided by 12 is 5
Multiply 5 with 1000 meters
5000 meters is the answer
Part B:
60 divided by 10 is 6
Multiply 6 with 1000 meters
6000 meters is the answer
