The different bettween electric circut is an electric current is a drift of electric charge in the case of metal conductors a drift of free electrons. A electric circut is the lath or route taking by those drifting charge carriers.

Current is nothing but the flow of charges due to the potential difference, whether its an electronic circuit or an electrical circuit.
