Problem:
Bill is moving to Florida from New Jersey and has to decide what size box to buy. To solve this he uses 1 x 1 inch cubes to calculate the volume? What is the volume if a medium size box can have 15 cubes for the length with and height?


Solution:
V = lwh
V = 15 x 15 x 15
V = 225 x 15
V = 3375
