12c+2t=39....(1)
3c+5t=57....(2)
Multiply the second equation -4
12c+2t=39
-12c-20t=-228
............................
-18t=-189
Solve for t
t=189/18
t=10.5. Plug in the first equation
..............
12c+2(10.5)=39
Solve for c
C=1.5
