The perimeter of a rectangle is TWICE the WIDTH + TWICE the LENGTH.

In our case it will be (2 x 5) + (2 x 6) = 22 units

you add all the sides up. It's a rectangle, so each side is put down twice.

5+5+6+6 is 22.
