Area of circle: pi r squared
Area of square: length times width
Length: 2
Width: 2
Radius: 1 (length^ is diameter of circle so radius is half of the diameter)
Find area of both square and circle
Circle: (Pi) 1^2 --> (Pi)
Square: 2Ă—2 --> 4
Since the circle is in the square and you are trying to figure out the blue shaded area subtract area of square by the circle
