Kinetic Energy of object (KE) = 25 Joules

Mass (m) = 34 kg

Solving for the velocity:______________________________________

We know that:

Kinetic Energy = 1/2(mv²)

25 = 1/2(34)(v²) [replacing the variables]

25 = 17(v²)

v² = 25/17 [dividing both sides by 17]

v = √(25/17) [taking square root of both sides]

v = √(25) / √(17)

v = 5 / √17

v = 1.2 m/s

Hence, the speed of the object is 1.2 m/s
