36/40 = 9/10
and convert into percentage would be (9/10 )*100 which would be 90

The correct answer is 90%
Step By Step Answer:
36 out of 40 people voted for Hong therefore it would be 36/40.
36 divided by 40 is 0.9.
0.9 times 100 is 90.
36/40 is equivalent to 90%!
