It a parabola which is shifted 5 left on x axis from the origin and 7 units upwards on y - axis.

This graph is translated to y = (x + 1)²- 2

Therefore the translated graph is shifted on x-axis by [-5 -1 ] = -6 units

Or 6 units to the left on x- axis.
