The slope intercept form of a line is:

y=mx+c

In this case, all we need to do is solve for y:

\begin{gathered} 4x-3y=24 \\ \end{gathered}

Let the y's be alone on one side of the equation:

4x-24=3y

Then divide both sides by 3:

\begin{gathered} y=(4x-24)/(3) \\ y=(4)/(3)x-8 \end{gathered}

Then the slope-intercept form of the line is y = 4/3x - 8
