Evaluate the truthfulness of this statement: The poet and the speaker are one and the same.

A)Absolutely true—a poet's work is personal, so the poet is the speaker.
B)Mostly true—usually they're same, but at a times a male poet writes from the perspective of a female speaker and vice
C)Occasionally true—usually they're different, but occasionally they're the same.
D)Not true—you can never assume the poet and speakers are one and the same.

I believe the answer is c because not all poems are written as the narrator is the speaker. Its probably not b because sometimes females can be the speaker from a females point of view. And d is probably not true because some poems are the poet and the speaker are the same so i think it is >>C<<.

Hope this helps
