We have to calculate the area and perimeter of this triangle.

This is a right triangle because it has a right angle.

We can calculate the area as half the product of the two legs, sides a and b:

A=(a\cdot b)/(2)=(7.9\cdot6)/(2)=(47.4)/(2)=23.7

The perimeter is equal to the sum of the length of the three sides:

P=a+b+c=7.9+6+9.92=23.82

Answer:

Area: 23.7 cm²

Perimeter: 23.82 cm

Type: right triangle.
