Explain the difference between a centimeter, a square centimeter, and a cubic centimeter.

A cm expresses the length of an object (ex: size of a man, length of a ruler etc.)

A cm² expresses the area of an figure (ex: square, rectangle, etc.)

A cm³ expresses the volume of an object (ex: cube, pyramid, sphere etc.
