Since the base of a cone is a circle, we substitute 2πr2πr for pp and πr2πr2 for BB where rr is the radius of the base of the cylinder.

So, the formula for the lateral surface area of a right cone is L.S.A=πrlL.S.A=πrl , where ll is the slant height of the cone.

A =
\pir(r +
\sqrt{h ^(2) }+r ^(2) )
Hope I helped!
