y=mx+c, where m is the slope of line and c represents the y-intercept of the line.

The given equation :
8y = 4 - 3x

Divide 8 on both the sides , we get


y = (1)/(2) -(3)/(8)x\\\\\Rightarrow\ y=-(3)/(8)x+ (1)/(2)

We can see that, the slope of the line :
m=(-3)/(8)
