Ok if the function is squared it means there are two of the same functions.
thus,
(2sqrt5 + 3sqrt7)(2squrt5 + 3sqrt7). use the foil method to work this out.
- Expanding brackets...
10sqrt10 + 6sqrt35 + 6sqrt35 + 9sqrt49
- Simplify, by adding together like terms...
31sqrt129 ...
if this is wrong it means you also have to square the unknowns. for instance instead of 10sqrt10, it's 10.s^2.q^2.r^2.t^2.10 ... note: . means multiply. but that seems ridiculous answer, so I think my original post may have a shot.

I hope this helps :)

(2sqrt5 + 3sqrt7) * (2sqrt5 + 3sqrt7)
= 4 * 5 + 6 sqrt35 + 6 sqrt35 + 9 * 7
= 20 + 63 + 12sqrt35
= 83 + 12sqrt35
