A sociologist studying monasteries, ashrams, student co-ops, and cohousing would be likely to notice what about these intentional communities?

An intentional community being studied by sociologists would notice different behaviors, management, and relationships in each. The communities share common goals and interests which make them be together. In a way these communities help people grow and develop with the others inside it.
