Henry Ford had already changed the world by his creation of the ever-growing Ford Motor Company, but when he was given a way to increase production from one car every 12 hours, to one car every 93 minutes, his company started booming. Originally the Model T car sold for around $850 (around $20,000 in today's money), but after Ford's use of the assembly line, he was able to get the price down to $260 (around $6,000 in today's money). So, as you can see, the use of the assembly line indeed had a drastic effect on Henry Ford's production of the Model T automobiles.
