Japan made changes entirely to give solutions to the energy. industrial and unemployment crises. The soldiers were included to educate themselves and rebuild the economy of Japan. Workers shifted their skills to a tertiary industry. They shifted to creation of computers and microtechnology. The change and hard work for their country became their edge in technology today.
