p(-2) = -11

p(0) = -3

p(5) = 17

Explanation:

Step(i):-

Given that the polynomial function p(x) = -3 +4x ..(i)

Given x =-2 , 0 and 5

put x =-2 in equation (i)

p(-2) = -3 +4(-2)

= -3 -8

p(-2) = -11

Step(ii):-

put x =0 in equation (i)

p(0) = -3 +4(0)

= -3 +0

p(0) = -3

Step(iii):-

put x = 5 in equation (i)

p(5) = -3 +4(5)

= -3 +20

p(5) = 17
