A summary should only include the important of main details of the text. You should always put in the title, author, evidence from the passage, and transition words. Don't forget good grammar! Summaries should always be quick and snappy, no more than 6-8 sentences.

Think about everything you wrote for whatever you wrote it for and piece together different pieces of whatever you were typing or writing then you mix up the words and put them in one big paragraph and make it look like it makes sense
