A man wants to paint his room with an area of 515 square feet. He mixses the following paints to make a shade of green

1 part blue paint
3 parts yellow paint
2 parts white paint

PART A

He estimates he'll need 1 gallon of green paint for every 175 every sqaure feet of the room. He estimates the smallest number of whole gallons of green paint need to paint the room. How much blue paint will he need to make the batch of green paint?

please explain your answer.

about 3 gallons of blue paint will be needed because if you add 175+175 it equals 350 and then add another 175 it equals 525.
