What are the rhyme schemes of “Paul Revere’s Ride” and “Barbara Frietchie”? and for what purpose might the poets have chosen to use regular rhyming patterns?

Paul Revere's Ride is a mini epic poem. It tells of a story of heroic deeds in the past. Its rhyme scheme doesn't have a fixed patter but each line in the stanza ends with words that rhyme with other end words within the stanza.

Barbara Frietchie is composed of couplets. Couplet is two lines that have the same meter and the last words rhyme.
