Identify the Formula for finding the nth term of an Arithmetic Sequence, where A(n) is the nth term of an Arithmetic Sequence, a is the first term, n is the term number and d is the common difference.

a) A(n)=a+(n)(d−1)

b) A(n)=a+(n+1)d

c) A(n)=a+(n−1)d

The answer is letter c. If we talked about arithmetic sequence it has the explicit formula: A(n)= a+(n-1)d. So it showed in the choices that letter c has the correct formula for arithmetic sequence. It is the only formula if you are going to find nth term of an arithmetic sequence.
