My answer is 2 2/3 cups of flour are required to make 8 batches of cookies.
Steps Required:
multiply the cups of flour for one batch of cookies by 8 batches.
Like this:1/3x8
Next you do 1/3 x 8/1 or Kcf keep change flip
you get 8/3 or 2 2/3

It would be 2 2/3 cups of flour because since 1/3 cups of flour makes one batch you would multiply 1/3 x 8
