I found the missing data:
table:
foot length (in) Shoe size(S)
8 6
8.5 7
9 8
9.5 9
10 10
Choices:
S = x – 2
S = 2x – 10
S = x + 6
S = 2x + 4
Among the choices, the correct equation is S = 2x - 10
S = 2(8) - 10 = 16 - 10 = 6
S = 2(8.5) - 10 = 17 - 10 = 7
