X+y= 2000
.05x+.06y= 105
Multiply top row by -.05
-.05x-.05y= -100
.05x+.06y=105
.01y=5
Divide by .01
Y= 500
2000-500=1500
$1.500 at 5%
$500 ar 6%
Check
1500x.05= $75
55 X.06=$30
Total $105
