Find sin theta if theta is in Quadrant 3 and tan theta= 3/4

A. 0.958
B. -5/3
C. -3/5
Please give explanation if possible.

ok, so tantheta equals opposite/adjacent, so if you have lengths 3 and 4 as legs of the triangle, you have a Pythagorean teille, 3 4 5, so sintheta equals opposite/hypotenuse, or in this case 3/5, this would be negative though because it's in quadrant 3, so the answer is C. -3/5
