If 1 batch contains 2 1/3 quarts of water and there are 5 batches, to find the right answer you should multiply the quarter of water by the batches which gives 2 1/3*5 = 11 2/3 and in decimals it is 11.66.

you multiply 5 * 2 1/3=
2 1/3= 7/3*5= 35/3 which is 11 2/3
so 11 2/3 is your answer
