The previous weight of Rhette's dog = was 158 pounds.

Present weight of Rhette's dog = 126 pounds.

The difference in the weight is calculated as,

\begin{gathered} Difference\text{ = 158 - 126} \\ Difference\text{ = 32} \end{gathered}

Percentage change is calculated as,

\begin{gathered} Percentage\text{ change = }(32)/(158)*100 \\ Percentage\text{ change = 20.25 \%} \end{gathered}
