(6x^2+11xy-10y^2)/(3x^2+10xy-8y^2)

(6x^2+15xy-4xy-10y^2)/(3x^2+12xy-2xy-8y^2)

(3x(2x+5y)-2y(2x+5y))/(3x(x+4y)-2y(x+4y))

((3x-2y)(2x+5y))/((3x-2)(x+4y)) the (3x-2y)s cancel leaving:

(2x+5y)/(x+4y)
