Correct answer: B) Water conservation is important because people are currently consuming freshwater resources faster than they can be replenished.

Water conservation means to save water wisely and use it properly without wasting it. All of us are dependent on water for our life, so it is our responsibility to develop technique and method to conserve water so that it can be available for the next generation.

Conservation of water reduces the use of energy use and hence its conservation saves money. Most of the people in the city are paying for the water they are using, so if they are conserving water and using it wisely they have to pay less.

Saving water help to preserve our environment, it decreases the energy required to process and deliver water and hence reduces pollution and help in conserving fuel.
