When adding/subtracting variables you can only add/subtract those variable that are of the same power....

3x^3-2x+8+2x^2+5x+x^3+2x^2-3x-3

(3x^3+x^3)+(2x^2+2x^2)+(-2x+5x-3x)+(8-3)

4x^3+4x^2+5

Answer:

The sum of given expressions is
4x^3+4x^2+5.

Explanation:

The given expressions are

3x^3-2x+8,2x^2+5x,x^3+2x^2-3x-3

We have find the sum of all these expressions.

3x^3-2x+8+2x^2+5x+x^3+2x^2-3x-3

Combine like terms.

(3x^3+x^3)+(2x^2+2x^2)+(-2x+5x-3x)+(8-3)

4x^3+4x^2+(0)+(5)

4x^3+4x^2+5

Therefore the sum of given expressions is
4x^3+4x^2+5.
