The probability that the spinner lands on a gray is 6/8 or 3/4 while the probability that the spinner lands on a blue is 2/8 or 1/4.

Since the probabilities are independent of each other, we simply multiply the probabilities of the two. Thus, we get the following.

P(G)\cdot P(B)=(3)/(4)\cdot(1)/(4)=(3)/(16)
