we know that

The area of a Kite is equal to

A=(1)/(2)(D1*D2)

where

D1 and D2 are the diagonals of the kite

In this problem we have

A=51.68\ in^(2)

D1=15.2\ in

Substitute in the formula and solve for D2

51.68=(1)/(2)(15.2*D2)

103.36=(15.2*D2)

D2=103.36/15.2

D2=6.8\ in

therefore

the answer is the option B

6.8\ in
