How to find area and perimeter of a rectangle using radicals

1 Answer

If working with perimeter, you would just add them. Yet, only radicals that are 'like' can be added. It's like fractions and like denominators.

If you are finding area, you can multiply the radicals by putting them in the same radical and finding the product. Then simplify the radical.
