A square has a side length of 18 feet. This square is dilated by a scale factor of 12 1 2 to create a new square. What is the side length of the new square?

Answer: its 9 feet.

Explanation:

to do this on your own, just divide 18 by 1/2, and you have your answer. it works with the other problems like this in the lesson
