Given,

Diameter is d=20 foot.

It makes revolution as 5 rev per minute.

Thus the radius is r=d/2=10 foot.

Now the speed is


v=r\omega

Here,


\omega=5*2\pi\text{ rad/min=10}(\pi)/(60)(rad)/(\sec )

Thus,


v=10*(\pi)/(6)=(5\pi)/(3)=(5.23foot)/(\sec )

Thus teh answer is 5.23 foot/sec
