The answer would be 19
Work:
F(5)= 2(5)+4=14
G(-3)= (-3)^2-4=5
14+5=19

Your answer is D. You simply plug in the values of each function into the function itself, and then add them together.
f(5)=36, g(-3)=5
36+5=41
