My teacher didn't give me a picture but the questions says???

The perimeter of a square is 60 inches find the length of each square....

Please show work

First, the perimeter of the square equal length times 4,and we already know that the perimeter is 60 inches,so we just need to divide 60 to 4 to get 15 inches, and the side length of the square is 15 inches. Hope it help!

Since the sides of a square are all equal and the perimeter is just the sum of the side lengths we can say:

p=4s and you are told that p=60 so

60=4s divide both sides by 4

15=s

So each side of the square is 15 inches.
