Please help me understand this!Problem:A shipping crate is shaped like a triangular prism. The triangular base of the crate has an area of 92.4 square inches.The height of the crate is 21 inches.Question:What is the volume of the crate?

Volume of a triangular prism

We know that the volume of the prism is given by

base area · height

In this case

Base area = 92.4 in²

Height = 21 in

Then

Volume = 92.4 in² · 21 in = 1,940.4 in³

Answer: the volume of the crate 1,940.4 in³
