Determine the equation of the line with slope 3 that passes through the point (2,0)? PLEASE HELP

y=mx+b, we are told the slope, m, is equal to 3 so:

y=3x+b, now we use the point (2,0) to solve for b:

0=3(2)+b

0=6+b

b=-6, so our line is:

y=3x-6
