What are the x-intercepts of the quadratic function? f(x)=x^2+6x−27

The x-intercepts are -9 and +3. What two number multiply to -27 but at to +6? +9 and -3. When you put x-9=0 and x+3=0, they both change their signs so what was +9 is not -9 and what was +3 was -3. I hope this helps you!
