We know that the co-ordinates of the mid-point of a line segment with endpoints (a, b) and (c, d) are given by


M_c=\left((a+c)/(2),(b+d)/(2)\right).

Since the endpoints of line segment AB are A(2, 3) and B(6, 11), so the co-ordinates of the mid-point of AB will be


M_c=\left((2+6)/(2),(3+11)/(2)\right)=\left((8)/(2),(14)/(2)\right)=(4,7).

Thus, the co-ordinates of the mid-point are (4, 7).
