8% as a decimal...

First you would turn 8% into a fraction.

Fraction : 8/100

Keep in mind that 8 is not 80, but 08.

So your decimal is 0.08 because if you turn your decimal into a fraction, it'd be 8/100, which was 8% as a fraction, so all of this is just a little circle LOL

0.08
